We want to create a cultural spacewhere book lovers can enjoy a coffee, join gatherings and themed workshops, and, of course, get inspired by an environment that blends the best of Dark Academia with a Hogwarts vibe. This will also be a welcoming place for remote workers and artists, who will find the perfect setting here to fuel their creativity.
Born and raised in Porto (Portugal), Catarina takes great pride in her northern roots. She holds a degree in Communication and Culture from the Faculty of Arts of Lisbon and a master’s degree in Journalism from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of Nova University of Lisbon. She lives on the edge between reality and fiction, a space she loves to imagine. Catarina is one of those people who engage in countless projects because she believes ideas shouldn’t begin and end on paper. From this life philosophy, various writing and creativity-related projects have emerged, along with a published book.
A programmer from Coimbra, he founded his own company to work as a freelance developer on truly exciting projects. He is the partner who joins Catarina, side by side, on this adventure that is Story Owl. He is also a drummer and stand up comedian.
Every week, Catarina will share on her Subtack the entire journey towards making this dream a reality: the setbacks, the obstacles, and the small victories. Everything will be documented there.
